For more than 350 years, Hotel Goldenes Rössl has been an important reference for travellers looking for shelter and repose. In fact, it was in 1640 that our house was first mentioned in records.
A document, dated back to the end of the 16th century, was found in the wooden beams at the entrance of the hotel and is a very important widness of the history of our house. The prominent facade with its three bow windows, the trifonium (tripartite bow window) and the imposant front building, which we still call "der Stellwagen" are further main features of the hotel.
